Registers and data.

Hoist Assets is read-only. It retrieves source-backed register data, records search context, and keeps billing and audit controls on the server.

PPSR

Organisation and serial-number searches across the Personal Property Securities Register. Paid dispatch requires confirmation; preview flows are non-billable. Hoist is org-only for PPSR grantor searches: organisations and serial numbers only, not individuals.

ABN and GST

ABR-backed counterparty and supplier verification, including ABN status and GST registration status where available.

ASIC entity intelligence

Company, business-name, AFSL, and ACL checks are treated as source-backed entity-intelligence signals. Public docs must not be read as a claim that Hoist has purchased or can currently retrieve a live ASIC current extract for every request. Fields marked as verified matched the source snapshot Hoist checked; unverified fields need human review.

Companies data can show whether a public ASIC Companies snapshot row is registered or deregistered, the ACN, company name, registration and deregistration dates, previous state registration fields, company type/class codes, and the ABN field where ASIC publishes one. The public snapshot does not include directors, officeholders, shareholders, registered office, or ultimate holding company details; those require separate ASIC access or a licensed provider.

Business Names data can show whether a public ASIC Business Names snapshot row is registered or deregistered, the registration and cancellation dates, state number/state fields, and the ABN field where ASIC publishes one. Hoist treats that ABN as source-backed holder linkage only for the public snapshot row; richer ownership history or current-extract claims require separate ASIC access.

AFS Licensee data can show whether an organisation appears in ASIC's Australian Financial Services Licensee snapshot, the AFSL number, start date, location fields, and source licence conditions. Authorised Representative data is linked for review context, but representatives can identify people, so this source remains access-controlled and any conditions or representative relationships require manual review before relying on a specific financial-service authority.

Credit Licensee data can show whether an organisation appears in ASIC's Credit Licensee snapshot, the credit licence number, licence status, issued and ceased dates, AFSL linkage, EDRS field, business-name fields, and source authorisations. Credit Representative data is linked for review context, but representatives can identify people, so this source remains access-controlled and any authorisations, cross-endorsements, status changes, or representative relationships require manual review before relying on a specific credit activity.

Banned and Disqualified Organisations data can show whether an organisation appears in ASIC's source snapshot by ACN or organisation-name fields. Banned and Disqualified Persons data can support possible person-name or source-document matches, but it identifies people and has identity-collision risk, so this source remains access-controlled and any match requires manual review before relying on it as a risk signal.

ASIC professional registers

Registered and official liquidator data is handled as a professional-register signal. It can support source-backed verification of a liquidator number, official liquidator number, status, suspension date, address locality, and firm membership, but same-name matches and status changes require human review.

Financial Advisers Register data is handled the same way: adviser number/name matches can show role status, AFSL licence linkage, registration status, appointing representative details, product authorisation fields, and disciplinary-action fields from the source snapshot. Hoist flags same-name matches, non-current states, restrictions, and disciplinary fields for manual review.

AFS Representative and Credit Representative records are exposed through the same verify-professional surface. They can show representative numbers, linked licence numbers, status or end-date fields, authorisations, EDRS context, and locality metadata from ASIC snapshots. Representative records can identify people or source-backed relationships, so Hoist treats them as manual-review evidence rather than automatic authority clearance.

Registered Auditor and SMSF Auditor records are exposed through verify-professional as source-backed evidence. Registered Auditor matches can show auditor number, name, ACN, status, suspension date, and principal address fields. SMSF Auditor matches can show auditor number, ABN, registration and suspension dates, locality fields, and source condition rows. Hoist treats same-name, suspension, condition, and status-sensitive matches as manual-review evidence, not automatic clearance.

G-NAF address intelligence

G-NAF-backed address intelligence is useful for normalising Australian addresses and matching them to source-level locality metadata. It is a source signal, not proof that a person or business occupies an address.

Search records

Completed searches produce saved records and identifiers that can be retrieved later by authorised users from the same account area as activity and billing.

Limits

  • Hoist supplies data and evidence, not legal, credit, tax, or financial advice.
  • Paid searches require confirmation and account billing capacity.
  • A search result should be shown with source, timestamp, confidence, and any human-review flags.
