Install in Cursor

Cursor reads MCP servers from its MCP settings or ~/.cursor/mcp.json.

Steps

1. Open Cursor settings and find MCP.
2. Add the snippet to mcpServers.
3. Restart Cursor and confirm the MCP settings show Hoist connected.
4. Approve OAuth in the browser window Cursor opens on first use.

Smoke test

In agent mode, ask: “Verify ABN 11695718659 and create a record.” Cursor should call abn_lookup.

Troubleshooting

• If the OAuth window does not open, check your default browser and pop-up settings.
• If tools do not appear, restart Cursor.
• If calls return 403, re-approve OAuth.
