Registers & data
Hoist is read-only. It retrieves source-backed register data, records the search context, and keeps billing and audit controls on the server.

Section titled “ABN and GST — live”ABR-backed counterparty and supplier verification, including ABN status and GST registration status. This runs against live Australian Business Register source data.
PPSR — AFSA, org-only
Section titled “PPSR — AFSA, org-only”Organisation and serial-number searches across the Personal Property Securities Register (source: AFSA). Preview flows are non-billable; paid dispatch requires confirmation. Hoist is org-only for PPSR grantor searches: organisations and serial numbers only, never individuals — no individual PII is searched or returned. Live PPSR source traffic is account-gated and enabled per account as source access is provisioned.
ASIC entity intelligence — snapshot
Section titled “ASIC entity intelligence — snapshot”Company, business-name, and professional/licence checks are source-backed entity-intelligence signals served from stored ASIC snapshots ingested into the platform. Public docs must not be read as a claim that Hoist has purchased or can currently retrieve a live ASIC current extract for every request. Fields marked as verified matched the source snapshot Hoist checked; unverified fields need human review.
- Companies — whether a public ASIC Companies snapshot row is registered or deregistered, the ACN, company name, registration and deregistration dates, previous state registration fields, company type/class codes, and the ABN field where ASIC publishes one. The public snapshot does not include directors, officeholders, shareholders, registered office, or ultimate holding company details; those require separate ASIC access or a licensed provider.
- Business names — ASIC business-name snapshot rows by exact, alternate, or normalised name.
- Professional and licence registers — AFSL, Australian Credit Licence, financial advisers, banned/disqualified persons, liquidators, AFS/credit representatives, registered auditors, and SMSF auditors, served from the applicable ASIC public register snapshot.
ACNC charity status — snapshot
Section titled “ACNC charity status — snapshot”Registered-charity status from ACNC source data ingested into the platform, for confirming whether an entity is a currently registered charity.
DFAT sanctions — snapshot
Section titled “DFAT sanctions — snapshot”Screening against the DFAT consolidated sanctions list, ingested into the platform, to flag whether an entity or name appears on Australia’s sanctions register. Treat a match as a prompt for human review, not an adjudication.
G-NAF address intelligence — snapshot
Section titled “G-NAF address intelligence — snapshot”G-NAF-backed address intelligence for normalising Australian addresses and matching them to source-level locality metadata. It is a source signal, not proof that a person or business occupies an address.
Opportunity intelligence — snapshot
Section titled “Opportunity intelligence — snapshot”Tender, grant, and award data drawn from official Australian sources (AusTender and GrantConnect) ingested into the platform, for finding and briefing opportunities and resolving incumbent/award history.
Search records
Section titled “Search records”Completed searches produce saved records and identifiers that can be retrieved later by authorised users from the same account area as activity and billing.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- Hoist supplies data and evidence, not legal, credit, tax, or financial advice.
- Paid searches require confirmation and account billing capacity.
- A search result should be shown with source, timestamp, confidence, and any human-review flags.
