Registers & data
Hoist’s available source lookups read Australian register data. Separately, prelaunch sample Evidence Pack exports, opportunity pipeline state, decision memory, and access revocation can change Hoist-side records. Entity and asset monitoring, subscriptions, automatic rechecks, and alerts are unavailable. Hoist has no money-movement tools.
data_mode and retrieved_at so an agent can caveat accordingly.ABN and GST — live
Section titled “ABN and GST — live”ABR-backed counterparty and supplier verification, including ABN status and GST registration status. This runs against live Australian Business Register source data.
PPSR — AFSA, org-only
Section titled “PPSR — AFSA, org-only”Organisation and serial-number contract mechanics for the Personal Property Securities Register (source: AFSA) are implemented but not currently customer-accessible. Preview requests fail closed without a price or register dispatch, and paid PPSR searches and pricing are not currently available through Hoist. The future PPSR grantor contract is org-only: organisations and serial numbers only, never individuals; current Hoist calls remain unavailable and no individual PII is searched or returned.
ASIC entity intelligence — mixed availability
Section titled “ASIC entity intelligence — mixed availability”Selected verify_professional register checks are served from exact, fresh, manifest-bound ASIC public snapshots after runtime trust and operational release checks. ASIC Companies, ASIC Business Names, and ASIC AFS snapshot paths are currently launch-quarantined and unavailable; completed, legacy, or fixture rows are not customer evidence. The separate asic_licence_lookup tool is fixture-only and does not establish current AFSL or Australian Credit Licence status.
- Companies (unavailable) — the future contract accepts a checksum-valid ACN, checksum-valid ABN, or 1-200 character exact normalised company name. ASIC publishes a broader company-status code set; the future contract represents supported registered/deregistered states and fails closed instead of coercing an unsupported code. Deregistration dates must be present only for deregistered rows and must be not before registration. The REST and direct MCP paths currently fail closed; the standalone MCP tool is omitted from discovery.
- Business names (unavailable) — the future contract accepts a 3-200 character exact deterministic normalised-name match, optionally constrained by a checksum-valid ABN. It represents supported source rows as registered or cancelled; unknown statuses, status-inconsistent cancellation dates, and cancellation dates before registration fail closed. The REST and direct MCP paths currently fail closed; the standalone MCP tool is omitted from discovery.
- Professional registers — financial advisers, banned/disqualified persons, liquidators, credit representatives, registered auditors, and SMSF auditors are available only when the exact released snapshot is healthy. AFS representative checks are currently unavailable.
- Standalone AFSL/ACL lookup —
asic_licence_lookupreturns explicit fixture/demo data only. It is not a live or current ASIC result, and Hoist has no wired current-extract provider; use the relevant ASIC Professional Register directly before relying on licence status.
ACNC charity status — snapshot
Section titled “ACNC charity status — snapshot”Registered-charity status from ACNC source data ingested into the platform, for confirming whether an entity is a currently registered charity.
DFAT sanctions — unavailable
Section titled “DFAT sanctions — unavailable”DFAT sanctions screening is launch-quarantined until Hoist proves the XLSX ingestion, normalisation, and exact runtime-trust path. No stored, legacy, fixture, or completed-looking row may produce a sanctions match or no-match as customer evidence.
G-NAF address intelligence — unavailable
Section titled “G-NAF address intelligence — unavailable”Customer address lookup is unavailable until Hoist proves a complete server-owned G-NAF snapshot. The current adapter contains representative fixtures for parser and index testing only; REST and direct MCP calls fail closed, lookup_address is hidden from discovery, and no fixture row or G-NAF citation is returned as customer evidence. The documented address and property paths are future contract references, not operational source checks.
Opportunity intelligence — snapshot
Section titled “Opportunity intelligence — snapshot”Tender, grant, and award data drawn from official Australian sources (AusTender and GrantConnect) ingested into the platform, for finding and briefing opportunities and resolving incumbent/award history.
Search records
Section titled “Search records”Completed searches produce saved records and identifiers that can be retrieved later by authorised users from the same account area as activity and billing.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- Hoist supplies data and evidence, not legal, credit, tax, or financial advice.
- PPSR preview and confirmation mechanics are not currently customer-accessible; preview requests fail closed without a price or register dispatch.
- A search result should be shown with source, timestamp, confidence, and any human-review flags.
